1.Application The testing machine is mainly used for the determination of the impact toughness of non-metallic materials such as rigid plastics (including plates, pipes, plastic profiles), reinforced nylon, FRP, ceramics, cast stone, and electrical insulating materials. 2.Working principle: The specimen supported by the horizontal beam is struck with a pendulum of known energy, and the specimen is destroyed by a pendulum impact. The impact line is located in the middle of the two seats. The energy difference between the front and rear pendulum is used to determine the energy absorbed by the sample during the failure. The impact strength is then calculated from the original cross-sectional area of the sample.
