Performance description

Controlled by computer and electric appliance, this machine can auto-complete the following actions: rising pendulum, hanging pendulum, sending specimen, positioning, impacting, temperature conditioning and computer measurement and calculation, which also can display the results and printed out with high efficiency and high accuracy. After impacting the specimen, the machine can rise pendulum with surplus energy automatically so as to be ready for the next test. The whole process is as below: auto-sending specimen->positioning->falling pendulum to impact, rising pendulum with surplus energy to prepare for the next impacting test. Done in a continuous low-temperature impact testing laboratories and a large number of low-temperature impact tests in metallurgy, machinery manufacturing and other industries, this kind of process can reflect its better advantages. Low temperature system uses refrigeration compressor technology to achieve uniformity of the sample auto-cooling, constant temperature and temperature regulation, with the use of heat balance principle and cycle mixing method. In line with national standard GB/T3808-2002 “pendulum-type impact test machine inspection”, according to national standard GB/T229-2007 “metallic materials Charpy pendulum impact test method”, this testing machine can conduct impact tests on metallic materials, which is also in accordance with JJG145 - 82 “pendulum-type impact test machine test procedures.”
JBD-300W can make sample pairs in the positioning method. The energy of maximum impact testing is 300J, and also with a 150J smaller pendulum.

Structure synopsis
This machine is composed of below parts: the host machine, organ of sending specimen, organ of positioning, setting of low temperature part, electric cabinet, etc.
- 1. Host machine is composed of body, transmission, part of hanging off pendulum, indicating part, pendulum and device of auto-rising pendulum.

Pendulum is made of its body, blade, swinging rod, connectors, plugs, hook, a puller etc.
- 2. Institution of sending specimen
It’s able to auto-send the specimen reached to supporting surface, which have been cooled to the desired temperature; To adjust the switch block can regulate the pole position and stroke length.
- 3. Positioning institute
Specimen should be next to side face of jaw, which can keep specimen in the axle’s center of pendulum correctly.
- 4. Cryogenic system
With refrigeration compressor technology, principles of heat balance and circulation mixing method, this machine can keep specimen to achieve uniformity of auto-cooling and constant temperature; it also can fully meet the national standard GB/T229-2007. This device is easy and simple to operate with high efficiency, so it’s optimal equipment to cool specimen.

3) Cooling medium: ethanol, or other ice-free liquid
- 1. Structure
Cryogenic system is formed by cooling system and cryogenic tank.
- 2. Working principle
Switching on electric power and opening cooling switch, the compressors begins to work. When the compressor starts to achieve low-temperature conditions (about 5 minutes), compressors will automatically start a formal cooling refrigeration system. With continuous working of cooling compressors, once inner temperature of tank is near the setting temperature, heating device of cooling tank provides heat a the PID regulator, so to balance the production of excess cold in order to achieve the purpose of constant temperature. Stirred tank cooling medium can continue to cycle in order to achieve uniform temperature tank.
- 3. Routine maintenance and notes
a) To keep equipment clean, non-violent vibration, collision, not free to take down. The tilt shall not be greater than 45 ° when removing.
b) Equipment shall not be placed near the sunlight exposure areas.
c) Pay attention to moisture-proof for electric control box and prohibit a variety of liquids.
d) Must ensure GND properly in order to ensure safety.
e) If the power outage caused downtime or failure, the re-start interval time must be greater than 30 minutes; more than room temperature 25℃, re-start interval time must be greater than 60 minutes.
f) In case that compressor does not start up, intermittent work or work for some time and suddenly stop, immediately turn off the power switch. First check whether the power supply voltage between AC220V-AC240V, if not meet the requirement, please check the network voltage or AC voltage regulator configured to reach the normal operating voltage value of this instrument.
g) Should pay attention to environmental temperature. Suggested that users should use the low-temperature tank below 25℃, as the ambient temperature is too high to lead to high and low temperature high pressure in the compressor system; with inadequate capacity or low voltage, it’s more difficult to start.
h) The samples into the cooling tank should be clean, instead of iron filings and other foreign matter into the cooling tank.
i) User should check the number of the cooling medium when operating; it’s appropriate to keep cooling medium of the evaporator to cover the copper (otherwise easy to frost on the evaporator). If setting temperature is lower, please note that due to temperature caused by changes in the volume of cooling medium, user should replenish the cooling medium.
j) After each use, may not have to release the cooling medium.
k) Cooling medium should be changed or add regularly and try to reduce impurities and water content, or being affected by poor circulation to affect cooling effect and the control accuracy.
Before opening the power switch, make sure the cooling tank filled with cooling medium, at the same time, it does not allow the temperature sensor from the cooling tank out, otherwise they will burn heating pipe.
l) After use of low temperature tank, be sure to turn off the power supply.
m) If the use of ethanol and other flammable materials to do the cooling medium, user must pay attention to fire prevention.
m)If equipment makes trouble, user should invite experienced maintenance personnel to repair or notify us. If the low-temperature cooling system is faulty to be used, please deliver to my company (because the cooling system failure can not be on-site exclusion). If your company has cooling professional maintenance staff to repair, please contact us as much as possible before the repair so that we can provide technical guidance to your company’s maintenance staff.
n) Before doing low-temperature experiment, you must first check the machine working properly or not.
- o) Add specimen once case is empty.
p) Host and electric control box must be grounded well.
q) Cooling tank must add enough ethanol.

The electrical control tester’s self-developed. Output is loaded by solid-state relay.
